Understanding Registry Scoring in the NUID Creation Process

For the University, State Colleges and HR/SAP, the Registry is where incoming data elements are evaluated for uniqueness and is therefore a very vital piece of the NUID creation process. This session will review how scoring is used and the recent changes that have been made to the Registry scoring matrix which should aid in reducing the number of duplicate NUIDs being created if utilized correctly.

Duplicate Resolution/Campus Updates

We'll start the session with a quick update from each campus and then spend the rest of the time on a high level overview of how duplicate IDs are created and the impacts of duplicates on the system. Also, tips and best practices to avoid creating duplicates and the high level process for reviewing and resolving duplicates.
