Roundtable on Clearinghouse Data, Error Reports and NSLDS

All schools report to the Clearinghouse and receive error reports from them, and the FA offices must ensure accurate data is passed to NSLDS for loan deferments. Schools are doing processes slightly differently and getting together to discuss best practices could help everybody. Is your institution reporting unofficial withdraw dates? How is you institution reporting enrollment level for Study Abroad students? Who works your reports from the Clearinghouse? Working together to overcome issues will help everybody.

  • Access to Nebraska.edu VPN - Some schools use their own campus VPN, which will work as long as you can get to the CSTSTNU or CSTSTSC site.
  • Download the BI Publisher add-on adn load it to MS Word.
    • The Add-on is available in PeopleSoft to download:
      • Navigate to Reporting Tools > BI Publisher > Setup > Design Helper
        • Select 64 or 32 bit. Make sure you choose what your version of Word is and not what your Windows operating system is.
      • Once loaded, your Word Ribbon will have a new option "BI Publisher"
  • Bookmark the "AMP Links" page - https://campuscontent.nebraska.edu/nesis/amplinks.html
  • Have your campus security coordinator assign the following security to your TST account:
